“Believe in yourself that you have the
Beauty, Ability, Intelligence and Confidence.”
These are what you need in order to be a beauty queen. And I am sure that I possess all of these characteristics which made me to be a titleholder. Going back there when I was still one of the candidates, that time, I just believed that I am beautiful inside and out, that I have the ability to ramp on stage, showcase my talent and captivate people with my unique charisma. I just believed that I am intelligent enough to answer any questions that would be given to me and I am confident that I could the crown that night. Hence, I learned that to be a beauty queen is to believe that you can be, you must be, and you will be a beauty queen then achieve it by giving your best shot.
Ten years from now, I see myself as a strong, independent, healthy, and most important of all, happy woman. And I am aware that the only person that can get me there is myself by putting all the passion, effort and determination I have in everything I do. In the movie Shrek the Third series, I once heard a very life-changing quote that the character Arthur said after defeating his enemy. “The only person that can keep you from becoming a villain is yourself.”
